Well... not all that many people read this blog, but I have yet to conclude this two year + adventure. Now that I am back in the USA after 27 months, I feel like a better, enriched and more capable person.
If any of you out there feel like joining PC is for you, do it! Just like everyone says, it's an amazing experience. During my time in Azerbaijan, I came to love the people, culture and country like my own. As they say in Azeri, "qaynayib qarishdim," or, I got right in the thick of things. Now begins the second part of my service- taking the lessons learned back home and not forgetting the people who have become my family and friends.
Thanks to all who have followed this blog and supported me. Sorry for the inconsistency and general lack of posting- I was never much of a blogger anyways. Being in a country with minimal Internet connection certainly did not improve my habits :) A final thanks to the wonderful people of Barda, Azerbaijan- sizin qonaqperverliyinizi hec vaxt unutmayacam! Butun ureyimle sizi hormet eleyirem ve insallah birde sizin yaniniza qayidacam. Men sizi cox cox cox lap hedden artiq isteyirem!!!
